Safety

Money that's locked, work you can check.

On Jobberd two parties who don't know each other yet work together. Here's what's in place to make that safe for both.

How it's protected

Payment in escrow

As soon as a company accepts someone, Stripe holds the amount. The money only reaches the professional after the company approves the delivery.

So the company can't pull the money back while the work is running, and nothing is paid out for work that was never delivered.

Screening before the inbox

Companies set screening questions per assignment. Only those who answer them come into view.

That keeps mass applications out and makes sure every response is about something.

Reviews afterwards

Every completed assignment produces a review. Missed deadlines are recorded on the profile.

That way everyone builds a history the other side can weigh up next time.

Mediation on disputes

If you disagree about the delivery, either side opens a dispute. Jobberd reviews the assignment description and the delivered work and mediates.

The amount stays in escrow for as long as the dispute runs.

What we don't do

  • We don't guarantee a result. What we do: hold the payment until the work has been approved.
  • We don't run background checks on companies or professionals. Screening questions and reviews are the signals you have.
  • We're not an employer and not a client. The agreement is between the company and the professional.

Which data we process and how long we keep it is set out in the privacy policy.
